Lead physiotherapist and founder of Be Balanced s.r.o.

The choice of my profession was purely intuitive. One day, a few years before graduation, I was just thrilled to study physiotherapy and become a physiotherapist without having an exact idea of what physiotherapy is all about. I was very attracted to healing people and in connection with movement it was a combination for me.

And so my visions, ideas and dreams were directed purely towards one goal. It was also the main engine of my studio. After graduation, I started studying physiotherapy at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, followed by a master’s degree at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. I am very glad that I was able to study with prof. Wheeler, because his concept of physiotherapy is really unique. I worked intensively at school, because I can’t learn without practice. After school, I worked in a private outpatient facility, but it soon drew me to my own practice. But I also learned the most there. I learned to rely only on myself and be able to diagnose without the help of a doctor. Likewise, I had to learn to help solve patient problems quickly and effectively so that they would not lose faith and confidence in healing.

The surgery gradually began to crack at the seams, and it was clear that if I wanted to move on and treat more effectively, a change was needed. I met my current husband, who was very supportive of this idea and helped with his expanding practice with his extensive managerial experience. The center has expanded to its current extent, and it includes an area of almost 700 m floor area. Great and interesting people started to come in our way, so our center is growing so slowly but surely and into a picture that we rather only dreamed of.

I am lucky that my work is also my hobby. The opportunity to invent new services and give them a form that will be really beneficial for people, charges me a lot. As well as the opportunity to inform the public in the form of articles and lectures that a lot of difficulties that look hopeless can be solved very well. I am grateful for the circumstances that have brought current opportunities to my path, because without them, such a center could not have been established. We are a team of people who support each other, inspire and pull together.
And above all, we care about our clients, their satisfaction and recovery.

In physiotherapy, I specialize mainly in the issue of functional painful disorders of the musculoskeletal system in athletes, normally active population and seniors. I have also been engaged in the physiotherapy of children using the Vojta method since neonatal age. At the Be Balanced center, we now also deal with the issue of dyspraxia with other colleagues. We also cooperate with the Motol University Hospital, children’s rehabilitation. The scope of my interest is wide, but it has its justification. It is still the same locomotor system with the same control by the nervous system. The brain and body work in certain laws, which are always the same. Therefore, by learning about the movement development of the baby, one learns a lot to work with adults, as well as knowledge of dyspraxia will help for targeted therapy of problems in adults. That is why I do not want to close myself to just one area and issue. I enjoy connecting connections.

Due to the long order deadlines, I am slightly changing the ordering system. I accept new patients only for the initial examination. In most cases, a physiotherapist will be present with her, who will then take you into care and follow up on the initial examination and therapy with me. I will then consult your status on an ongoing basis.
